I have been styling hair ever since I can remember. I even had a salon chair in my bedroom. When I enrolled in cosmetology school, I knew this was the only career I wanted to do.
I spent three years working in my home country of Canada before making the big move to the US and settling in my new home, New Jersey. It was here that I worked my way up from assisting to advanced cutting education with Toni and Guy, building my career on cutting and styling, editorial, and weddings.
Now with almost 20 years doing what I love, I specialize in doing wedding hair all over the world and giving clients their best hair ever behind the chair at my home base in Jersey City.

Sainte Lüx, the Jersey City born business I co-own, focuses on making you feel your most beautiful and authentically you on your big day. Drawing inspiration from fashion and editorial hair, I love to evoke that feeling in your wedding hair to offer something truly unique. Together we'll create something that feels effortless and elevated, and 100% you.
I have worked on set with companies such as Target, Marchesa and Electric Picks. I have also assisted Justine Marjan and was a finalist in the Editorial category for the Toni and Guy Photographic Awards.

My haircuts are built to last. I encourage clients to get a haircut with the seasons and in between you'll have a beautiful shape with minimal effort. My strong technical foundation allows me to be super intentional about what I cut off, because it's more important what I leave behind.

The absolute best experience
Had the absolute best experience with Meg and the Sainte Lux team for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. Not only did I look and feel beautiful, but all of my bridesmaids said this was the best they’d ever felt they looked for a wedding as well. The team took special time and attention to ensure not a single hair or eyelash was out of place, but more than anything else, they were such a fun team to spend the day with. They felt like an extension of my bridal party and helped to create the perfect, low stress atmosphere pre walking down the aisle.

Meg loves to say “with the seasons”. About every 3-4 months will help keep your hair healthy and growing
1 hour haircuts are for maintenance. This is for you if your last haircut was 3-4 months ago. 1.5 hour haircuts are for new clients (so Meg can get to know your hair and you), big transformation haircuts (you’re going to chop off your hair), or clients who have really long, really thick hair. When in doubt, always book more time!
Meg typically books about a year or so out for weddings. The sooner the better!
